Best Camera Lens-Overall
As an amateur photographer, my question is what is the best camera lens overall?
One of the reasons I picked the Nikon D80 is because it had the option of coming with an 18-135mm lens which is what I thought was the best camera lens overall.
When I went to purchase a UV filter for it, the young man behind the counter looked at me like I had the Willy Wonka Golden Ticket because he thought the 18-135 was the best camera lens overall.
The best camera lens I ever owned in my opinion was the Tameron 20-200 that I had on my Nikon 6006. I've read that you really need to get into the 200mm range to get good scenery shots, so I do miss the ability to go out to 200.
So I ask the question now, what do you think is the best camera lens overall?
